Welcome! These policies are here to make sure everything runs smoothly for both of us. By placing an order or booking a class, you agree to the terms below.

🎉 Classes

Refunds & Cancellations

  • All class sales are final. No refunds are given.
  • If you cannot attend, you may send someone in your place.
  • If there is a waitlist and I can fill your spot, you’ll receive a one-time credit valid for 3 months toward a future class.
  • If a class does not meet the minimum of 4 participants, it will be canceled and you will receive a full refund.

Location & Address Info

  • Classes are held at various venues throughout Orange County.
  • Specific address and details will be emailed to you a few days prior to the class.

Photography Policy

  • Photos may be taken during class for use on Nifty Cookies’ social media.
  • If you’d prefer not to be photographed, just let me know at the start of class.

🍪 Custom Orders (Cookies & Cakes)

Allergy Disclaimer

  • All cookies and cakes are made in a home kitchen that handles nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, corn, and food dyes.
  • We are not a nut-free, dairy-free, or gluten-free kitchen.
  • Labels include allergens where possible, but cross-contamination may occur.

Order Window & Quotes

  • Decorated Sugar Cookies: Place your order at least 2 weeks in advance (4 weeks is ideal).
  • Cakes: Place your order at least 3–4 weeks in advance.
  • Quotes: I’m happy to give you a quote based on your inspiration photos. Please note:
    • I don’t copy another baker’s work.
    • I don’t create copyrighted characters.

Rush Orders

  • Orders placed under 2 weeks may be subject to a 25% rush fee if I can fit them in.

Custom Designs & Changes

  • Inspiration photos are for inspiration only — your cookies/cake will be similar, but not replicas.
  • Requests for changes must be made at least 2 weeks before pickup. After that, I’ll try my best, but fees may apply.

Color Disclaimer: Colors may look different in person than they do on screens or photos.

Refunds & Credits

  • Cancel more than 2 weeks before pickup → Refund minus deposit.
  • Cancel within 1 week of pickup → No credit or refund (I’ll already be baking for you!).
  • All sales are final, but if you’re not happy, please reach out within 24 hours. We’ll do our best to resolve the issue.
  • If I must cancel (emergency, illness), you’ll receive a full refund.

Payment

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of confirming your order. If unpaid, your order is not booked.
  • Final balance is due 2 weeks before pickup. Orders placed less than 2 weeks out require full payment upfront (plus rush fee if applicable).
  • Payment Methods: Cash, credit card (via Shopify), Venmo, or Zelle.
  • ❌ No checks.

Delivery & Pickup

  • Pickup: Orders are pickup unless otherwise arranged. Pickup time is set when you order — please stick to it!
  • Late Policy: Running late? Please let me know ASAP. If 48 hours pass without pickup or communication, your cookies will be donated to a local family shelter.
  • Delivery: Local delivery within Orange County may be available for an additional fee.

🏢 Custom Logo Orders (Printed Logo Cookies)

Allergy Disclaimer

  • All cookies are made in a home kitchen with nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, corn, and food dyes.
  • Labels will include allergens where possible, but cross-contamination may occur.

Order Requirements

  • Minimum order: 12 cookies.
  • Place orders at least 21 business days before delivery/pickup (more time during peak seasons).
  • For printed cookies: Provide high-resolution files (PNG, JPG, AI, EPS) at least 14 days before the event.

Design & Approval

  • A digital mockup may be provided before production.
  • Customers must approve the design within 2 business days.
  • Fine details and small text may not reproduce well on cookies; I’ll recommend adjustments if needed.

Pricing & Payment

  • Pricing is based on size, quantity, and complexity.
  • Printed logo cookies are typically 2" size; larger or intricate designs may cost more.
  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to book.
  • Balance due at pickup/delivery.

Cancellation & Changes

  • Orders can be canceled up to 10 business days before pickup/delivery. Deposit is non-refundable.
  • Changes can be made up to 10 business days before pickup/delivery. Later changes may incur fees or be declined.

Delivery & Pickup

  • Pickup: At arranged time/location.
  • Delivery: Available within Orange County for an additional fee.

Packaging & Care

  • Each cookie is individually heat-sealed for freshness and labeled with flavor/allergens.
  • Orders are boxed for transport.
  • Once cookies leave my care, I am not responsible for breakage. Handle with care.

Customer Satisfaction

If there are issues, please contact me within 24 hours of receipt. We’ll work to resolve promptly.
